Though the concept of online learning and online classroom platforms is nothing new, MIT is set to bring advancements to the industry. The release from MIT explained what the tentative plans were for the new system that they would be rolling out. What This New Launch Means
Aside from giving potential and current students the ability to study and learn at their own pace, the new launch from MIT will have other features and advantages. For one thing the new system will also enable students to interact, which will help with team assignments and tutoring.
